Venturing off 'The Hill' you'll find plenty to keep you busy, with the Rose & Crown tumbling distance away, where you can enjoy local Adnams Ale, while further around the coast are great gastro pubs such as The Hoste at Burnham Market, the Orange Tree and Lifeboat in Thornham (head towards the Fish Pie at the latter) and the White Horse around at Brancaster - all of which can make a well deserved goal at the end of a walk on the wide open beaches of the North Norfolk coast or along the ancient Pedders Way.
A boat trip out to Scolt Head Island or to see the seals around Blakeney Point is also highly recommended. Bird watchers should head straight towards the RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell and anyone needing retail therapy can be healed at either Holt or Burnham Market.
